Why is a list important?

If I saw titles along the lines of “Find out the top five reasons to (blank)” or “Signup to view my secret to (blank),” a site would seem very spammy to me. Maybe you could do another post about how you’ve implemented these types of titles on your site and talk about the results you’ve seen from them. I know that would convince me.

It might sound “spammy” taken out of context, but if you solve the person’s problems.. and then, continue to solve the person’s problems.. then, you’ll have a customer/reader for life. WAY TOO MANY TIMES – I sign up for what appears to be the “magic” solution just to get a series of “affiliate offers” or “upsell offers” that don’t relate to anything.. That’s probably the experience of most people online (maybe even why it entered your conscience to begin with).. so they refuse to follow these techniques for fear of being “spammy”. BUT they work when you “market match!” When you match your solution to your market..
